Description The Human Resources Intern will provide administrative and operational support to Five Star’s HR department, assisting with tasks like recruitment, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, onboarding new hires. This position will also maintain employee records and support HR projects, including implementation of a new HRIS. Key responsibilities include data entry, assisting with employee relations, and using HR software. The role provides exposure to company policies, employee development, and overall HR operations, helping you develop skills for a future career. Requirements Essential Tasks: Posting job positions within internal HR software, company website, and outside sources Screening and reviewing resumes Scheduling interviews Assisting with the onboarding process for new employees Preparing and sending offer and rejection letters Updating and maintaining employee records and databases Filing HR documents and managing HR data Processing paperwork and assisting with payroll data Assisting with employee satisfaction surveys Helping to organize company events and employee engagement activities Supporting HRT projects and initiatives as assigned Gaining exposure to and developing knowledge of company policies and labor laws
