Overview SUMMER 2026 Shure offers a challenging, fun, and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is open to undergraduate and graduate students, with flexible work arrangements ranging from on-site internships to fully remote opportunities across the U.S. Each intern receives a competitive salary. Applications are collected and reviewed in late fall/early winter, with selected candidates contacted shortly thereafter. As an HR Intern, you’ll support various functions within our corporate HR team and distribution center warehouse, gaining hands-on experience in human resources and logistics operations in a fast-paced environment. You’ll assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, inventory support, and event planning, with a special focus on meal and snack coordination and major summer events. This Internship is Hybrid, commuting to Niles and Wheeling Locations Responsibilities Contractor Recruitment & Onboarding Partner with contractor agencies to support hiring and onboarding. Facilitate onboarding by ensuring checklists and expectation sign-offs are completed. Schedule interviews and collect manager feedback quickly and efficiently. Event & Meal Coordination Set up and monitor biweekly meals at our Wheeling location. Coordinate monthly snack days—because who doesn’t love snacks? Assist with planning and logistics for Core Week and the Summer Picnic, ensuring every detail is covered for memorable events. VIBEs Event Facilitation Help plan and run VIBEs (Values in Belonging & Engagement) events to encourage inclusivity and participation across teams. Corporate HR Support & Administration Provide day-to-day support to the HR team at corporate headquarters. Audit associate files to ensure compliance and accuracy. Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for emergency handling with best practices. Inventory & Organization Organize and purge old items to maximize space. Manage seasonal items for easy access and operational efficiency. Other Duties as Assigned Jump in wherever needed, because HR is all about being flexible, resourceful, and team-oriented! Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities effectively. Comfortable performing physical activities and standing/walking for extended periods. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Desired Characteristics: Strong interpersonal skills, with a proactive and eager-to-learn attitude. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Creative problem solver, enthusiastic about event facilitation and employee engagement. Interest in HR technology and data management.
