Clearwater Seafoods’ Human Resources Department requires a HR Intern. This position is located in Bedford, Nova Scotia.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Recent graduate with a Business diploma
  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • ADP user knowledge is an asset.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the recruitment process by reviewing resumes, posting job ads, managing the careers inbox and scheduling interviews.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings with candidates to assess their qualifications and interest in the position.
  • Prepare new hire paperwork and assist with onboarding activities, such as setting up new employee accounts.
  • Help maintain employee files and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assist with employee communications including communications, employee handbooks, training manuals etc.
  • Support HR team members with various projects and initiatives, this includes providing administrative, reporting, and technical support.
  • Assist with HR-related events, such as career fairs, company events or company-sponsored activities.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the HR Manager or HR team members.
