Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to lead the day-to-day HR operations and support management in a hands-on, people-focused environment. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this position offers significant autonomy and decision-making power, the management of a small HR team, and the role of primary point of contact for employee relations, compliance, and operational HR matters. Your Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of Human Resources while managing and mentoring a Generalist and an HR Technician. - Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, disciplinary actions, investigations, and sensitive cases. - Advise managers on performance management, attendance, conflict resolution, and policy implementation. - Ensure compliance with Quebec labour legislation and the consistent application of HR policies. - Oversee recruitment, onboarding, probationary period monitoring, and performance management processes. - Validate payroll processes and ensure the accuracy of HRIS (ADP) data. - Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and support organizational growth.
