The Corporate HR Manager will lead and support human resources initiatives across multiple corporate functions. This role partners closely with functional leaders to enhance organizational capability, drive employee engagement, and support strategic business goals. The individual will serve as a trusted advisor and culture champion, proactively addressing current and future workforce needs. This individual will provide generalist guidance and support for a wide range of areas, including HR Strategy, Organization Design & Effectiveness, Talent Management/Employee Development, Compensation, Employee Relations, and HR Policies & Procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing and corporate environment.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
  • Ability to be onsite 5 days a week at the Glenview corporate campus with flexibility in hours.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
Responsibilities
  • Foster relationships to effectively partner with the key functional stakeholders in support of our HR strategic plan for talent acquisition, performance management, organization design, employee relations, leadership development, HR training, and corporate responsibility.
  • Partner with functional leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Lead talent management efforts including succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Provide guidance on compensation, employee relations, and HR compliance.
  • Champion ITW’s values and culture across corporate functions.
  • Mentor and develop early-career HR professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while mitigating organizational risk.
