JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for our dialysis care organization. In this role, you will oversee all HR operations—including talent acquisition, compliance, employee relations, and staff development—for a team of clinical and administrative professionals committed to delivering high-quality care to patients with chronic kidney disease.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a healthcare management role—dialysis or outpatient care experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP preferred)
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance in healthcare settings, especially as it pertains to dialysis care and patient-facing roles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage clinical HR functions, including credentialing, licensure tracking, and regulatory audits
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including those affecting dialysis centers (e.g., CMS, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills to support a diverse, multidisciplinary team
  • Experience using HRIS platforms (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, or similar systems)
  • Ability to work independently, handle sensitive situations with discretion, and build trusted relationships at all levels

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all HR functions across one or multiple dialysis clinics, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for clinical staff (e.g., RNs, PCTs, LPNs, Social Workers, Dietitians), ensuring appropriate licensure, certification, and background screening
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance on conflict resolution, performance issues, disciplinary actions, and team development
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, FMLA, ADA, and state-specific employment regulations
  • Support clinic leadership with staffing strategies, workforce planning, and retention efforts in a highly regulated, patient-centered environment
  • Facilitate regular performance reviews, leadership coaching, and training initiatives to enhance staff engagement and clinical excellence
  • Manage HRIS data integrity, employee records, and reporting requirements; assist with audits and regulatory reviews when necessary
  • Collaborate with payroll/benefits staff to ensure accurate leave tracking, benefit enrollment, and timekeeping for both clinical and non-clinical teams
  • Lead employee engagement efforts and help foster a culture of safety, respect, and compassion for both staff and patients
