To support both this strategic project and Assystem’s growing presence in Kazakhstan, we are seeking an HR Manager in Astana to lead all human resources activities, ensuring compliant, structured, and effective people management across project and corporate operations. Job Description The Human Resources Manager will lead and manage the entire HR function end to end for Assystem Kazakhstan. This role ensures full compliance with local labor legislation, strengthens HR processes, and maintains a fair, structured, and performance-driven work environment. The position reports directly to the General Manager of Assystem Kazakhstan and collaborates closely with regional and headquarters HR teams when required. Own and manage all HR functions, processes, and activities end to end Identify, assess, and manage HR-related risks Prepare HR reports and monitor key HR metrics and KPIs Continuously improve HR processes, policies, and procedures Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant HR practices Uphold labor discipline in line with company policies and local legislation Oversee mandatory, corporate, and induction training programs Coordinate employee development and external professional training activities Track attendance, manage annual leave and vacation schedules, and process leave requests Handle HR correspondence and all required personnel documentation Manage expatriate employment processes, including work permit and visa applications, extensions, and renewals, in coordination with authorities and external consultants Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources Fluency in English and Russian (Kazakh is a strong asset) Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan labor legislation Proven experience managing expatriate work permit and residence processes Excellent organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills Experience in engineering consulting, energy, or construction companies is strongly preferred Additional Information We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
