Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and highly organised Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals, as well as ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, managing employee relationships and ensuring a positive workplace culture.
You’ll be working across two businesses located at the same site: Back Care Solutions and Ergonomic Seating Solutions—both dedicated to improving the comfort, support, and well-being of people across the UK. Together, we have a team of approximately 60 employees.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing recruitment. Including job postings, interviewing, and on-boarding of new employees
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Introducing new initiatives to drive employee satisfaction and a positive culture
  • Manage employee relations issues, providing support to employees and management to resolve conflicts effectively
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Implementing and updating policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice
  • Oversee staff development and training plans to enhance performance
  • Conduct HR meetings such as investigations, disciplinaries, grievances etc.
  • Conduct data analysis and surveys to identify trends in employee performance and satisfaction, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Preparation of monthly payroll
  • Liaising with our third-party HR Employment Law specialists
