Key Responsibilities Lead investigations and manage escalated employee relations issues Oversee compliance audits and legal documentation Support recruiting and onboarding processes Coordinate with IT and supervisors for new hire setup Assist with compliant benefits and leave of absence documentation Automate HR workflows Qualifications Effectively oversee every hiring process to adapt to evolving business needs, ensuring both compliance and smooth operations. Conduct and document workplace investigations, handling employee concerns and resolving issues as they arise Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies through regular audits and reviews Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, making sure all necessary paperwork and requirements are met Coordinate with other departments to set up new employees with necessary resources and access Coordinate the management of employee benefits and support leave of absence requests, keeping all records accurate and up to date Maintain and update HR records in the organization’s systems, ensuring information remains secure and current Address HR-related questions from employees and managers, providing guidance as needed Requirements 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in property management or compliance-heavy industries Bachelor's Degree or HR Certificate Strong knowledge of California labor law and HRIS systems Proven ability to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion Excellent communication and documentation skills
