REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting 400+ employees across multiple states
  • Strong understanding of corporate HR policies and employment law
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted

Responsibilities
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting and staffing processes—from job postings to onboarding
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews, conduct background and reference checks, and manage records administration
  • Develop and conduct employee training, including safety orientation, and compliance
  • Provide new hire support, employee reassignment, job evaluations, compensation management, and AA/EEO compliance
  • Administer and improve HR policies, including safety protocols and OSHA compliance
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims, including first reports, leave tracking, and return-to-work documentation
  • Coordinate FMLA, STD/LTD, and unemployment claims
  • Maintain personnel records and CDL driver files in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Administer drug testing program and ensure legal and company policy compliance
  • Support all HR functions including employee relations, evaluations, and compensation reviews
  • Conduct exit interviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in employee engagement and retention
