Responsibilities

THE ROLE

You will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, responsible for all aspects of the human resources function for the company, ensuring compliance with employment laws and contributing to, and supporting, the strategic business goals through your development and application of HR processes.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Lead the full employee lifecycle: recruitment and selection, onboarding, training and development, performance reviews and any other HR related issues.
    · Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolving disputes confidentially and fairly. Supporting and coaching the management teams to develop their own employee management skills.
    · Monitor, measure and report on HR issues such as absence, performance and disciplinary as well as opportunities and development plans with agreed formats and timescales and manage accordingly.
    · Establish and maintain appropriate systems for identifying and measuring training and development. Deliver training and development initiatives to support staff growth and retention.
    · Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in line with UK employment law. Keep up to date with Employment related legislation and best practice.

· Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and relevant hospitality regulations.

  • Ensure all HR documentation, right-to-work checks, and training records are kept up to date and in line with GDPR.
  • Promote a positive work environment and uphold our family business values.
