We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our growing team and help shape the future of the cannabis industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, a passion for the cannabis industry, and the ability to create an inclusive, compliant, and high-performing workplace.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring the company remains compliant with state and federal regulations, and providing strategic guidance on talent acquisition, employee development, and organizational culture. You will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our workforce, while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding for all levels of positions within the company.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture, addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compliance: Stay up-to-date with cannabis-specific employment laws, including federal, state, and local regulations. Ensure the company remains compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Training & Development: Create and implement training programs for employees to enhance their skills, foster professional growth, and ensure they understand company policies and industry standards.
  • Performance Management: Support management in performance evaluations, feedback, and the development of improvement plans for employees.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with industry standards.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement programs to boost employee morale, engagement, and retention.
  • Health & Safety: Monitor and maintain workplace safety standards, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for all employees.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain HR records, create reports, and provide insights on workforce trends and metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and cannabis-specific regulations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per year
