The Human Resources Manager leads the day-to-day HR function at Cosmos and manages the HR team, so the business runs smoothly and employees are well supported. This role owns the operational backbone of HR; benefits, payroll, systems, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations and is the first point of contact for managers and employees on people matters. It keeps Cosmos consistent, compliant, and audit-ready as the company grows, exercising sound judgment on routine employee-relations matters and escalating complex or high-risk situations to senior leadership and legal counsel. The result is an HR function that runs with discipline and care while the company scales toward its next phase. Requirements Lead the HR team, ensuring daily HR operations across benefits, payroll, systems, run accurately and on time. Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations; resolving routine concerns, and conducting fact-based investigations, escalating complex or high-risk matters to legal counsel. Administer leave, accommodation, and ADA processes, ensuring fair, compliant, and well-documented decisions. Own HR compliance operations required filings, reporting, recordkeeping, and consistent policy application keeping Cosmos audit-ready. Partner with hiring managers on recruiting and selection to deliver a consistent, culture-aligned candidate experience. Steward onboarding, recognition, and culture programs that reinforce Cosmos values and strengthen the employee experience. Maintain and apply Cosmos HR policies, mission, vision, promise, and values, so people decisions are made consistently and fairly. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 1–2 years leading or supervising others. Working knowledge of employment law, benefits, payroll, and HR compliance. Experience with HRIS platforms and comfort using technology and AI to streamline HR work. Demonstrated sound judgment handling confidential and sensitive employee matters. Preferred Qualifications PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
