Description

The successful Human Resources Manager is a seasoned HR professional with a BS degree in Human Resources, Employment Relations or equivalent experience and professional certification, SHRM preferred.
The position will report directly to the Controller and provide leadership across the CPS organization in the areas of employee relations, compliance, safety, benefits, training, and organizational development.
The Human Resources Manager will also directly support the human resources recruitment, benefits administration, and training staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in Human Resource Management from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Professional certification (SHRM preferred)
  • Must have 5+ years’ experience in compliance
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting 100 employees or more in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with national and local legislation, including EEO, Workers’ Comp, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, UC, etc.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts
  • Positive and professional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Action Bias and a Sense of urgency
  • Ability to maintain/manage confidential information
  • Strong time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat, HRIS and ATS; Paycor/Paylocity knowledge a plus

    Candidate will be reimbursed for credits required to maintain certification and offered training to remain current in skills and industry trends.
