HR MANAGER

Salary: USD 75,000–85,000 plus potential 10% bonus
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Manager to join a large, dynamic hospitality team. This role supports over 550 employees during peak summer season and approximately 425 employees in the winter, working closely with the Director of HR and other operational leaders to ensure a competitive, engaged, and high-performing workforce.

Requirements

  • Mandatory: U.S. citizen.
  • Mandatory: Previous hotel/hospitality industry HR experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and engage with employees at all levels.
  • Experience conducting compensation studies and making market competitiveness recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems; experience with Philosophy is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a large team environment
Responsibilities
  1. Employee Engagement & Team Support
  • Build strong relationships with employees across all departments, fostering an open, approachable, and supportive HR presence.
  • Actively engage with team members to address concerns, provide guidance, and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Partner with operational leaders to ensure HR initiatives align with business goals.
  1. Compensation & Competitiveness
  • Conduct compensation studies to ensure pay structures remain competitive within the hospitality industry.
  • Provide recommendations on adjustments and compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Work with the Director of HR to maintain equitable and consistent pay practices.
  1. HR Operations & Systems
  • Support day-to-day HR functions, collaborating closely with the HR Generalist, Director of HR, and Training & Quality Manager.
  • Ensure accurate HR data management using the Philosophy HR system.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to support payroll processing.
  1. Compliance & Policy
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Support employee documentation, records, and reporting requirements.
