Description

ABOUT DENBOW TRANSPORT:

Established in 1981, Denbow Transport is an innovative, family-owned company based in the Fraser Valley. We specialize in processing, delivering, and installing forest residuals to create sustainable solutions for the agricultural, landscaping, and environmental sectors. Our mission is to develop people, products, and sustainable solutions—and we do so by living our values: integrity, excellence, innovation, community, and teamwork.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Human Resources Manager who is passionate about culture, leadership, and people development—not just policies and procedures.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is more than an HR role. We are looking for someone with their finger on the pulse of organizational culture, who can support leaders, inspire people, and drive engagement from the ground up. You will play a strategic role in shaping our HR framework, while also delivering day-to-day people initiatives that build a high-performing, people-first organization.

Responsibilities
  • Culture & Engagement: Lead and support company-wide employee engagement initiatives, including designing and delivering development programs, managing Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys, and advising managers on actionable results.
  • Leadership Development & Succession Planning: Partner with department heads to build internal leadership pipelines and support long-term workforce planning.
  • HR Systems & Compliance: Standardize and implement core HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with BC employment legislation.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee and collaborate on payroll and benefits systems to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and efficiency.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor and balance the needs of the business with the needs of individuals, helping leaders navigate complex people matters.
  • Talent Acquisition: Support recruitment processes, job descriptions, and onboarding to build high-quality, aligned teams.
  • Performance & Development: Build and maintain tools for performance reviews, employee growth, and career pathing.
