Our client is seeking an experienced and people focused Human Resource Manager to lead HR operations, align talent strategies with business goals, and foster a positive, high performance workplace culture. This fully on site position works closely with leadership and employees, including those in unionized roles, to ensure smooth day to day HR operations while supporting a collaborative, respectful work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience dealing with employees in unionized environments.
  • Strong knowledge of NYS labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Training & Development: Assess needs, create development programs, and monitor employee progress.
  • Performance Management: Administer appraisals, goal setting, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee pay structures, benefits, and incentive programs, aligning them with company policies and contract guidelines.
  • Policy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to NYS and federal labor laws, organizational policies, and applicable contract provisions.
