REQUIRED SKILLS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
· Three years of human resources experience required, HR management experience highly desired.
· PHR, SPHR, or similar HR certification highly desired.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
· Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

· Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across Duke City services.
· Nurture a positive working environment
· Develop and implement HR strategies, initiatives, policies and procedures aligned with the overall business strategy
· Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues
· Oversee the recruitment and selection process
· Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
· Supports the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
· Provides support and guidance for complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodation, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
· Analyzes trends in salary, compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
· Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and HR industry standards.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
