Description Summary of Job: The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and administering the Company’s Human Resources function while supporting Dynabrade's commitment to operational excellence, employee engagement, legal compliance, and continuous improvement. This management position develops and implements HR strategies that align with the Company's business objectives and manufacturing environment. The Human Resources Manager serves as a trusted advisor to Executive leadership, managers, and employees by fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and developing programs that attract, develop, and retain high-performing employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Regular tasks performed and outcomes to be accomplished on the job. Other duties may be assigned. Human Resource Leadership · Develop, implement, and administer HR policies, procedures, and best practices. · Partner with Executive leadership on workforce planning and organizational development. · Provide guidance to managers regarding employee relations, performance management, and employment practices. · Promote Dynabrade's core values, culture, and employee engagement initiatives. · Lead continuous improvement efforts within the Human Resources function. Talent Acquisition · Develop recruiting strategies for manufacturing, engineering, technical, administrative, and professional talent. · Oversee recruiting, interviewing, selection, and onboarding. · Maintain relationships with staffing agencies, schools, and community organizations. · Ensure effective new employee orientation. Employee Relations · Investigate workplace concerns and resolve employee relations issues fairly and confidentially. · Support managers with discipline and performance management. · Ensure consistent application of company policies. Performance Management · Oversee the administration of performance evaluations. · Support leadership development and succession planning. · Coordinate employee recognition initiatives. Compensation and Benefits · Administer compensation and benefits programs. · Monitor market competitiveness. · Oversee payroll processing and compliance. · Support retirement program administration. Compliance · Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, Workers' Compensation, COBRA, HIPAA, New York employment laws and multi-state employment laws. · Maintain employment records and required reporting. · Support ISO 9001 compliance initiatives. Training and Development · Oversee the identification of training needs and coordinate employee development. · Support safety training with EHS. HR Administration · Prepare HR metrics and reports. · Maintain confidential personnel records. Safety · Provide strategic oversight of the Company’s safety and health programs in partnership with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) personnel and operational leadership. · Promote a culture of workplace safety and regulatory compliance. · Administer Worker’s Compensation. Supervisory Responsibilities · Supervises Human Resources staff, manages departmental budget, and provides coaching and performance management. Requirements Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field required. · Master's degree preferred. · Minimum 5 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3 to 5 years in HR leadership. · Manufacturing experience strongly preferred. · SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
