With a growing workforce, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to help build and lead our HR department, ensuring we attract top talent, maintain compliance, and foster a safe and engaged workplace.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The HR Manager will oversee and execute all aspects of human resources operations, with key responsibilities in talent acquisition, employee relations, safety compliance, and HR policy development. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
  • 3–5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and a working knowledge of OSHA/safety regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • Understanding of Large Language Models (Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini) and how to use it for increased efficiencies, preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract skilled trades and administrative personnel.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Build relationships with local technical schools, staffing agencies, and community partners.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations, performance issues, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Administer benefits programs and support performance evaluation processes.
  • Lead all safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and workplace safety standards.
  • Conduct safety audits, maintain reporting protocols, and manage incident investigations.
  • Develop and deliver safety training and ongoing compliance education for all staff.
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented culture aligned with company values.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and retention strategies.
  • Support leadership in organizational development and change management.
