Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Human Resources Lead who will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, championing culture, engagement, compliance, and talent development. While this role includes handling payroll tasks, the core focus is building a strong HR foundation that supports growth, structure, and employee excellence.
You’ll be instrumental in designing and leading HR initiatives across hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, succession planning, and compliance — all while ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility position — ideal for someone who thrives in a growing company and wants to take ownership of building people systems from the ground up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the strategic HR partner to leadership across all departments.
  • Lead full-cycle HR operations: hiring, onboarding, benefits, performance management, training, and employee engagement.
  • Manage and process payroll (Paycor) for 80 employees with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Develop and maintain compliant HR policies, practices, and employee documentation.
  • Drive initiatives around employee recognition, development, culture, and internal communication.
  • Support workforce planning, organizational structure, and succession planning.
  • Administer benefit plans and maintain current knowledge of legal and regulatory changes.
  • Serve as liaison for employee relations, ensuring a positive and compliant workplace.
  • Translate internal policies and communications (English/Spanish) to ensure clarity and consistency across the team.
  • Some office coordinator activities will be required
