About the role We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a strategic role that will be pivotal in supporting the hotel's operational success and employee engagement. As Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the Holiday Inn brand values and contribute to the overall business objectives. You will work closely with senior leadership and departmental managers to ensure our workforce is engaged, motivated, and equipped to deliver outstanding service to our guests. Key responsibilities 1. Develop, implement and manage comprehensive HR strategies and policies that align with Holiday Inn brand standards and organisational objectives 2. Oversee recruitment, selection and onboarding processes to ensure the hotel attracts and retains top talent across all departments 3. Manage employee relations, including handling disciplinary matters, grievances and performance management in accordance with employment legislation 4. Administer payroll, benefits and compensation programmes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements 5. Design and coordinate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career progression opportunities 6. Maintain comprehensive HR records and ensure compliance with data protection and employment regulations 7. Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes diversity, inclusion and employee well-being 8. Provide strategic HR advice to senior management on organisational development, workforce planning and change management initiatives 9. Monitor and report on key HR metrics, including turnover, engagement and training effectiveness 10. Collaborate with departmental heads to identify staffing needs and support operational planning What we're looking for 1. Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a hospitality or similar service-based industry setting 2. Proven expertise in recruitment and talent management within a multi-departmental environment 3. Strong knowledge of Singapore employment law and statutory compliance requirements 4. Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities 5. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with employees at all levels 6. Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office applications 7. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine commitment to employee development 8. Relevant HR qualifications such as CIPD, SHRM or equivalent recognised certification is preferred 9. Experience in employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture development is highly desirable 10.
