Hopwells are a people business- and as a family owned independent frozen and fresh food wholesaler and car/truck main dealer we believe in team action, creative solutions and share a passion to give our best every day. We require an enthusiastic and talented person at our Nottingham Head Office.
We are looking for a HR generalist with the drive and energy to take overall responsibility for HR across our 5 sites and 150+ employees.
This is a wide-ranging position which you will help to shape.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • CIPD qualified level 3
  • Accuracy and proof reading proficiency
  • Administration and Analytical skills
  • Keen eye for detail and capable of managing a varied workload
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

· Manage and be responsible for all aspects of the employee lifecycle
· Oversee all recruitment and onboarding processes
· Support and advise managers on all employment issues

· Act as trusted advisor to the Board of Directors on HR matters

  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the business
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
