Description

As HR Manager, you’ll make sure our employees are enabled and empowered through HR programs in your hotel. You’ll also promote a positive team culture while ensuring our colleagues deliver a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life. Direct/Manage everyday activity, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing level Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues Train colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive - linking up departments to create sense of one team Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other department Recommend or initiate any HR related actions where needed Create programs to foster a positive work environment for all employees. Support and administer an annual team member satisfaction survey Oversee maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees Ensure hotel or company hiring standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed Build great relations with outside contacts Meets with Heads of Departments to review their recruitment needs, ensuring they are following their manpower budgets Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on food, beverage, and labour costs…. Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community and promote team member involvement in local community Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, policies and procedures Maintain HR compliance/IHG standards Research and investigate all workplace issues to discover facts, identify potential risks What we expect from you: 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company. Knowledge of Local Labour and Employment Regulations. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Problem solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities. Good writing skills
