Our team enjoys a clean, growth focused environment with a Monday through Friday schedule.   Position:                      Human Resources Manager Reports To:                 Director of Human Resources & Finance Status:                        Exempt Shift:                           Day Shift: Monday – Friday, flexible hours between 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM                         BASIC WORKER FUNCTION: Lead the Human Resources department to support company goals. Manage recruiting, employee relations, performance, compliance, benefits, and HR policies. Act as a resource for employees and a strategic partner for leadership.   GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF TASKS: • Create and maintain HR policies following federal, state, and local laws. • Lead recruiting and onboarding to hire and retain talent. • Handle employee relations, conflicts, and performance improvement plans. • Oversee payroll, benefits, and compensation programs. • Conduct HR audits to ensure legal compliance. • Advise management on HR practices and organizational development. • Support training, development, and employee engagement. • Prepare reports and analyze HR data to guide decisions.   REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving. • Proficient with HR software and Microsoft Office. • Able to analyze HR metrics and reports. • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information. • Strategic thinking and planning skills.   QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). • 5+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years in management. • Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR). • Experience in recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. • Use office equipment like computers, phones, and printers. • Occasionally lift items up to 20 pounds.
