Description
Larkin Community Hospital is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Human Resources Manager to support and lead daily HR operations. This role is essential in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance (including healthcare-specific standards), supporting our hospital workforce, and delivering high-quality HR services across all departments. The HR Manager will oversee recruitment, onboarding, personnel records management, employee relations, performance management, policy development, training compliance, and HR data reporting. QUALIFICATIONS: Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in healthcare. Strong knowledge of HR laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, HIPAA). Experience managing personnel files and compliance documentation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to maintain high confidentiality and professionalism.   Preferred HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP). Experience working in a hospital or healthcare system. Familiarity with accreditation standards (URAC, Joint Commission, CMS). Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG, ADP, Workday).
