OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources management, with expertise in various HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management. This role requires strategic thinking and the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership while fostering a positive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on strategic planning and program management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and HR sourcing techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change effectively within an organization.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial oversight related to HR functions is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • A degree in Human Resources Management , Business or related discipline with a minimum of 2-5 years of Human Resources experience in a management role.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is required.
  • Knowledge of Safety and Health regulations is required.
    Essential Physical Demands:
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, walk, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
    Working Conditions:
    Manufacturing office work environment and some presence on the production floor.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives that include Safety & Health programs.
  • Oversee talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new temporary and full-time employees.
  • Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, including FMLA and OSHA regulations.
  • Administer benefits programs and manage payroll processes using HRIS systems such as ADP. Manage enrollments and changes to benefit programs.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and performance management initiatives to support talent development.
  • Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate required OSHA trainings.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational design and succession planning efforts.
  • Utilize data analysis skills for HR metrics reporting and process improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate employee orientation programs to integrate new hires into the company culture.
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant policies.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and/or weekends when required.
  • Must be able to work and communicate with a diverse employment population.
  • Ability to complete deadlines and tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality and promote positive employee relations for all Team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
