HR Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)Type: 12 Month FTC
We are seeking a talented HR professional to step into a pivotal leadership position covering a maternity leave within a well-established, purpose-driven organisation in Dublin.
This is an exciting, fast-paced period for the organisation. With key initiatives underway. This role offers the perfect balance of day-to-day HR operations and strategic involvement.
The RoleReporting to the Head of HR, you will lead an established and supportive HR and operational team. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle across a diverse workforce, ensuring seamless operational support while driving proactive HR solutions and project delivery.
- Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management: Inspire, lead, and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Employee Lifecycle & Operations: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Projects & Strategy: Get hands-on with high-impact projects, including reward & recognition, employee survey rollouts, and inclusion initiatives.
- Payroll & Benefits: Manage and approve monthly payroll processes alongside the HR team..
- Advisory & Compliance: Provide trusted, best-practice employment law and HR advice to management teams across the organisation.
- Facilities & H&S Support: Oversee departmental compliance (GDPR) and collaborate with the Facilities Coordinator on Health & Safety protocols.
- What We Are Looking ForExperience: Proven experience in a hands-on HR Management role managing direct reports.
- Background: Candidates with experience in Not-for-Profit, Healthcare, Hospitality, Retail, FMCG, or Public/Semi-State sectors will be a strong fit
- Payroll Experience: Practical experience managing or approving monthly payroll processes.
- Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of Republic of Ireland employment legislation (and basic exposure to Health & Safety guidance is a plus).
- Systems: Highly proficient with HR management systems/databases and MS Office.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, empathetic approach.
