Position Summary: The agency Human Resources (HR) Manager, is responsible for overseeing all agency HR functions and operations in conjunction with Nexus home office policy, federal and state laws and generally accepted principles and practices. Primary responsibilities: HR Leadership & Strategy Align site-level HR operations with Nexus HR strategy and Executive Director priorities Partner with leadership, Finance, IT, and HR to drive engagement, growth, and retention HR Consultation & Compliance Serve as a trusted advisor on performance, policy, corrective action, and employee relations Ensure HR practices meet legal, regulatory, and organizational standards Employee Relations & Performance Management Proactively address employee concerns, investigations, and risk mitigation Support fair, consistent performance evaluations and feedback processes Compensation & Benefits Coordinate compensation actions and benefits administration with Home Office HR Support open enrollment and respond to employee benefits inquiries Recruiting & Talent Development Partner with leaders to assess workforce needs and develop internal talent Support compliant recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices Requirements Required Education and Licensure: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field. 5+ years of Human Resources experience Valid Driver’s license required; mut meet state regulating agency and Home Office driving requirements Must be open to meeting the cultural needs of individuals or communities, considering factors such as language, traditions, and values. Must be able to successfully pass a DHS background check.
