Holiday Inn Dandenong is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our hotel leadership team in a part-time capacity (15 hours per week). This role offers flexibility, making it ideal for an experienced HR professional seeking meaningful work close to home with genuine work-life balance. This is a standalone HR role requiring a confident and autonomous operator who can guide hotel leaders, manage people-related risk from an ownership perspective, and continue to foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture.   Your day to day Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, ensuring best-practice people management while balancing commercial outcomes and compliance obligations. You will be responsible for: * Providing strategic and operational HR advice to department leaders * Championing employee engagement and a positive workplace culture * Compliance within the Hospitality Industry Award, NES and WHS laws * Recruitment, workforce planning and succession planning initiatives * Coaching and guiding managers through performance management processes * Lead WH&S and compliance requirements * Managing employee relations matters, investigations and disciplinary processes * Administration such as maintaining hotel policies, payroll documentation, tracking training completion and general employee documentation   What we need from you: * Previous HR leadership experience - prior hospitality experience is highly desired * Confidence to work autonomously as the sole HR resource onsite * Demonstrate strong, up-to-date knowledge of Australian employment legislation, the Hospitality Industry (General) Award), and Fair Work requirements * Be commercially minded with the ability to balance people and business outcomes * Possess excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills * A proven track record of leading the performance management processes end-to-end, including investigations, show cause processes, warnings and terminations * Demonstrate the ability to coach, influence and challenge leaders constructively * Full Australian working rights   What you can expect from us: We give our people everything they need to succeed.
