This role partners closely with leadership while also staying hands-on across key HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, total rewards, performance management, and compliance. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Do Support a positive, values-driven culture and employee experience Lead recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts Partner with managers on employee relations, performance, and development Administer compensation, benefits, and recognition programs Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies Lead HR operations, systems, and payroll coordination Drive employee engagement through communication, events, and programs What You Bring 8+ years of HR experience across multiple disciplines Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices (CA preferred) Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Paylocity a plus) Strong communication, judgment, and relationship-building skills Ability to balance strategy with execution Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple functional areas Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR initiatives to business goals and drive results Demonstrated experience processing payroll and working within HRIS systems (experience with Paylocity preferred) Strong, in-depth knowledge of federal and California wage and hour laws, payroll practices, and compliance requirements Proven ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively with leaders and employees at all levels Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion Sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy Self-directed with the ability to work independently and deliver results Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical, effective solutions High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems Adaptable, flexible, and responsive to changing business needs Demonstrates consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality Spanish language skills a plus Why Join Us Be a key partner to leadership and make a real impact Help shape culture, engagement, and employee experience Work in a collaborative, values-driven environment Broad, hands-on role with meaningful influence across the company Work for one of North Bay Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, 7 years in a row!
