HR Manager (Part-Time – Employee or Contractor) Rebalance Rehab in Chilliwack, BC is seeking an experienced, people-focused Human Resources Manager to join our growing healthcare team. This is a part-time (approx. 12 hours/week) position, which can be structured as either an employee or contractor role, depending on the successful candidate’s experience and mutual fit.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of staff
  • Prepare, update, and maintain employment contracts, agreements, and payroll/benefits administration
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures for compliance, privacy, health, and safety
  • Support performance reviews, professional development, and support plans
  • Mediate staff concerns and foster a positive, inclusive, and healthy workplace culture
  • Advise on employment law, regulatory changes, and HR best practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ HR experience, ideally in healthcare, physiotherapy, or community services
  • Thorough understanding of BC employment law and healthcare regulation
  • Strong communication, organization, and conflict management skills
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a small business or clinical environment
