Overview:
Sedano’s Corporate - Hialeah (18610 NW 87th Ave #300, Hialeah Fl 33015) - Shift/Turno: Full-Time/Tiempo Completo (Morning/Por la mañana) - The Retail HR Manager plays a critical role in supporting the success of retail operations by managing all human resources functions across store locations. This includes but not limited to: recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is passionate about building strong teams that deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports all stores from corporate office by providing HR guidance and expertise.
  • Partner with store managers to identify staffing needs and lead recruitment efforts
  • Oversee onboarding and training programs to ensure consistent employee development
  • Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive workplace culture
  • Implement performance management systems and support coaching conversations
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and leave programs in coordination with corporate HR
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across store teams
  • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism) and recommend improvements
  • Lead succession planning and career development strategies for retail staff
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to store leadership on HR-related matters

Qualifications:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor´s degree in in Human Resources, Business, or related fields
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a related or customer-facing industry
  • Strong Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel between store locations as needed
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Energetic and approachable with a hands-on leadership style
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to build trust and motivate diverse teams
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence
  • Experience in Retail setting managing workforce of 3,500+ preferred.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP).
  • Bilingual: English, Spanish.
