SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR role, ideally within a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Ability to handle sensitive HR matters with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant HR software.
Responsibilities

The HR Manager is an integral member of the site leadership team, responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Human Resources function. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that are aligned with operational goals, and leading initiatives to foster a positive work environment, enhance employee engagement, and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The HR manager is supported by the Head of Human Resources, a HR Administrator and the wider HR COE Team.
This is a permanent role which offers a Monday - Friday work schedule and will involve the successful candidate being present on site each day.
