SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources
• 5+ years in human resources
• Experience in working in a multicultural environment, familiarity with working with remote teams
• Familiarity with European labour legislation, especially Finnish labour laws
• Excellent English and Finnish, skills other language skills is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
• Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
• Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems
• Familiarity with Workday and working knowledge of GSuite is a plus
• Recognized as an expert in the HR field.

TELUS International is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our AI team in Tampere. HR manager will oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes, support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, including job design, performance management, training and onboarding.

• Acts as HR responsible for TELUS AI employees in Finland, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Turkey and France
• Reports to HR Director and works closely with global HR colleagues
• Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes
• Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures
• Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision
• Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending local human resource policies and procedures
• Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances
• Acts as a labor law expert; monitor, follow-up and study local labour law requirements
• Train managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
• Handle confidential matters with discretion
