Keys to success in this position include knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding human resources and exceptional customer service, communication skills. A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, two years of advanced Human Resources experience, and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SHRM-CP) certification is required. PEO experience is a plus!

  • Serves as the primary resource to assigned companies and departments regarding high-level human resources functions including but not limited to recruitment and selection, employee relations, policies and procedures, corrective action, performance management, compensation, compliance, personnel transactions, and employee benefit and recognition programs.
  • Collaborates with L&D Manager and managers across the enterprise to support employee satisfaction, engagement, development, and performance in alignment with company standards, and to identify courses in the LMS that aid in professional development and career pathing.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations to ensure exempt and nonexempt employee evaluations are objective and thorough.
  • Knowledge at an advanced level regarding Federal, multi-state, and local employment regulations including but not limited to: FLSA, ADAAA, FMLA, ADEA, PDA, NLRA, Title VII, PWFA, etc.
  • Establishes and maintains competitive compensation planning for all jobs.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding all new hires to ensure the right person is selected for the job.
  • Performs the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues, anticipates problems whenever possible, and recommends appropriate steps for successful resolution.
  • Provides research, analysis, and recommendations in developing, implementing, and evaluating HR policies and training programs.
  • Conducts new hire follow-up with managers and exit interviews and analyzes data and makes recommendations for continuous improvement

The Attributes We Seek

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) years of human resources experience.
  • Two (2) years of management experience.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
