Description

Full job description

Melodica Music Academy is looking for a hands-on and experienced HR Manager to oversee our HR and administrative operations across a large and growing workforce. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, presentable, confident, and comfortable managing the day-to-day operational and administrative aspects of HR.

This is a very hands-on role requiring someone who is comfortable being involved in the details, solving employee-related issues, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring HR processes are implemented effectively on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day HR operations and administration for a large workforce across multiple departments and locations.
  • Handle employee documentation, contracts, onboarding, offboarding, transfers, leave, attendance, payroll coordination, and other HR administration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, files, HR databases, and documentation.
  • Oversee attendance, leave management, employee movements, and other operational HR processes.
  • Coordinate with management and department heads on employee-related matters and provide timely HR support.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, performance concerns, and workplace issues professionally.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and company guidelines are properly implemented and followed.
  • Support workforce planning, manpower requirements, recruitment coordination, and onboarding as required.
  • Coordinate with PRO, payroll, finance, and other departments on employee-related requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Prepare HR reports, trackers, dashboards, and other operational reports for management.
  • Identify gaps in HR processes and implement practical improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Support employee engagement, retention, performance management, and overall employee experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when dealing with sensitive employee matters.
  • Take ownership of administrative and operational HR tasks and ensure issues are followed through to resolution.

Candidate Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably with experience at HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist level.
  • Proven experience managing HR operations for a large workforce / high headcount organization.
  • Strong hands-on HR administration and operational experience — this is essential.
  • Experience handling a high volume of employees, documentation, attendance, leave, onboarding, employee queries, and HR transactions.
  • Strong understanding of UAE labour laws and HR practices.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-department, multi-location, or high-volume environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to interact with employees, managers, and senior leadership.
  • Presentable, professional, confident, and approachable personality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle employee issues calmly and professionally.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and be hands-on rather than purely managerial or strategic.
  • Strong Excel and HR systems/HRIS knowledge.
  • Experience in education, retail, hospitality, F&B, entertainment, or other high-volume people environments would be advantageous.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
