QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, or Human Resources.
  • Professional designation such as CHRL, SHRM, or CIPD (or working toward designation).
  • In-depth knowledge of HR legislation, employee/labor relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Flexible to travel and work varied hours as required.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $110,000.00-$125,000.00 per year

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Manager with experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments to join our leadership team in Mississauga. This is a key role responsible for overseeing all HR functions, supporting people leaders, and driving employee engagement strategies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee development, performance management, and compensation/benefits.
  • Lead employee relations, workplace investigations, and support leaders in addressing workforce issues effectively.
  • Manage union and labor relations, including participation in collective bargaining when required.
  • Conduct wage surveys, analyze labor market trends, and support compensation planning.
  • Partner with leadership to implement HR policies, programs, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Drive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives across the organization.
  • Prepare HR reports, track workforce metrics, and contribute to budget planning.
