Venor is proud to partner with Harbour Construction Company Limited on their search for a Human Resource Manager to join their growing team. Harbour Construction is an industry-leading civil infrastructure construction firm based in Dartmouth, NS. Harbour Construction provides a wide range of civil contracting services to public and private sector commercial and industrial clients. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Manager will be a key contributor, responsible for overseeing all HR functions. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company’s goals and values. This is an exciting chance to take what you know and build out new HR processes and procedures from the ground up with a company that champions growth from within and is driven to maintain high retention and long-term success.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the construction or in a related industry.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Discretion and a high level of integrity for handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems.
