EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in human resources administration, talent acquisition, and human capital development.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment & labor law, regulations, and compliance
  • Experience in managing onboarding, offboarding, performance appraisals, and employee separations.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Lattice).
  • Strong interview, selection, and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work across teams.
Responsibilities

WHY THIS ROLE IS UNIQUE:

You will step in as the sole HR Manager for 3 months while our current HR Manager is on maternity leave - an opportunity to take ownership and keep things running smoothly. When she returns, you won’t step aside; you’ll transition into a shared role, collaborating closely to divide responsibilities in a way that’s meaningful and sustainable for both. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and administer core HR functions - HR Administration, Talent Acquisition, and Human Capital Development
  • Foster an inclusive, engaging, and positive workplace culture.
  • Maintain Lattice HRIS and ensure managers and employees stay engaged with the platform.
  • Coordinate compensation increases in collaboration with leadership, ensure adjustments are documented, communicated clearly with finance and third-party partners, and update accordingly in HRIS.
  • Manage and initiate new talent recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
  • Initiate probationary, quarterly, and annual performance appraisals.
  • Collaborate with third-party partners on overseas hiring and the employee experience.
  • Coordinate and draft employment and independent contractor contracts.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews with hiring teams.
  • Manage employee separations, including voluntary and involuntary departures
  • Collaborate with finance on HR matters ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives within the HR function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
