General Purpose Responsible for providing support to the Human Resources department in a variety of activities, processes, and initiatives.    Job Duties and Responsibilities * Assist with communications such as: monthly newsletter, weekly announcements, and miscellaneous communications. * Conduct hourly phone screens, create new hire folders, and participate in new hire orientations. * Conduct employee roundtables and stay interviews to gather feedback, track, and report out on trends. * Assisting in upkeep and filing of HR documents. * Facilities support as needed including organizing storage rooms, employee training room, employee locker rooms and lunchroom. Ensuring space is utilized efficiently and inviting to our internal and external customers. * Providing executive administrative support as needed. * Special, real-time projects as assigned. Work Environment and Schedule * 20-25 hours a week / $17.00 per hour * On-site * Professional, office environment * Availability - Immediate Qualifications Education and Experience * Working towards Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Ability to demonstrate professional written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to build relationships and interface with all levels of individuals, internal and external to the organization. * Ability to multi-task, work independently and within a team. * Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, initiative, and follow up. * Basic level experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) An Equal Opportunity Employer
