Job Details
As a result of the continued growth of our group we are expanding our Human Resources department and an opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Officer to join our team based at Somersby on the Central Coast.

This role will provide exposure to and involvement in all Human Resources activities, including:

  • Recruitment and selection
  • Generalist employee advice and support to supervisors and managers
  • Assisting with the processing of our weekly payroll
  • Administration of our HRIS and timekeeping system
  • Conducting HR inductions for new employees
  • Implementation of new company-wide HR initiatives

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience within a Human Resources team. Experience within a blue collar industry such as manufacturing or logistics would be an advantage but is not a strict requirement.
  • An understanding of the Employment Relations framework, including Industrial Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a history of building effective relationships with different levels of stakeholders
  • The ability to make decisions demonstrating diplomacy and resilience in challenging circumstances
  • Problem solving and time management skills including the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
  • A positive mindset and ability to work within a collaborative team environment
