We are currently seeking to fill a temporary position for a Human Resources Officer within our team. This role is located in Swindon and requires a full-time commitment, working Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate must be available from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of an earlier departure on Fridays. It is imperative that applicants possess a valid Full UK Driving Licence and hold at least a Level 3 qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
In this role, you are expected to collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team both at the central office and across various school sites. Your responsibilities include attending meetings with the heads of provisions to discuss key performance indicators (KPIs), workforce planning, and employee relations cases. Additionally, you are tasked with ensuring that the heads of provisions are informed of any updates regarding legislation and employment law changes.
In addition, you will be tasked with conducting probationary reviews, updating and maintaining case modules, and ensuring that performance issues are addressed promptly and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and current legislation. Furthermore, you will provide support to staff in relation to payroll inquiries, collaborate with the payroll advisor to verify and authorize payroll each month, and respond to any queries raised by employees. It is also essential that you assist the People Services Manager with exit interviews.
