About the Role

The Human Resources Officer will support the day-to-day HR operations of the organisation with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, compliance monitoring, training coordination, and HR administration. This role plays an important part in ensuring we maintain a reliable, skilled, and compliant workforce of Support Workers to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end onboarding of support workers.
  • Ensuring compliance with NDIS and Aged Care requirements.
  • Coordinating mandatory training and inductions.
  • Managing employee records and compliance documentation.
  • Handling disciplinary actions, performance management, and investigations.
  • Providing HR support and advice to staff and managers.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and employee files.
  • Assist with HR reporting and recruitment tracking.

About You:

  • High-level experience in HR or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and disciplinary processes.
  • Experience in Aged Care, NDIS, or a regulated environment (highly regarded).
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and confidentiality skills.

Qualifications

No formal HR qualifications are required; however, significant practical experience in a similar HR role is strongly preferred.
