We will also consider applicants from various industries with transferable skills.
You’re a people-focused professional who brings excellent customer service skills and a warm, approachable manner to everything you do. You’re reliable, trustworthy, and understand the importance of handling sensitive and confidential information with care. Highly organised and detail-oriented, you can juggle competing priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to build strong relationships and support both candidates and hiring managers makes you a valuable member of any recruitment team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be the central point of contact for our hiring managers, candidates and stakeholders, facilitating a positive and collaborative relationship whilst driving quality recruitment outcomes.
Our unit has several recruitment portfolios including Corporate, Assessment Centres, Control Centre, Graduate Paramedics, Specialist Paramedics. Within each portfolio, we have dedicated Human Resources Officers and Team Leaders who collaborate and engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide recruitment advice, hiring support and recommendations in a timely and policy focused manner.
Customer service is at the forefront of our unit, and you will be involved in end-to-end processes which involve communication with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that candidates are progressed and informed throughout every step of the process. You will have the opportunity to be part of the candidate’s whole experience including but not limited to obtaining recruitment approvals, reviewing position descriptions, reviewing candidate applications, auditing submissions, scheduling interviews, sitting interview panels, liaising with candidates, submitting interview recommendations, processing employment checks and extending letters of offers.
Our unit works in a collaborative approach, so you will be involved in multiple assessment centres and annual recruitment campaigns, allowing you the opportunity to cross skill across multiple portfolios and build on your career succession. You also could be involved in regional state campaigns and engage with the organisation state-wide.
We currently have two temporary full-time opportunities, for a period up to 12 months with possible extension.
