Your role at St John of God Health Care An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time position. In this role, you will provide a comprehensive transactional and advisory service to line Managers and caregivers to support them throughout their employment lifecycle, on all aspects of Human Resource services. Managing an allocated portfolio, you will deliver responsive, customer-focused HR services while ensuring compliance with legislation, organisational policies, and best-practice standards. The Position: Assess and process of a variety of changes to existing caregiver positions/conditions, parental leave, resignation, reporting relationships, costing and structural changes ensuring that data is updated in the Human Resources Information System (Workday) in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure all relevant payroll documentation is completed and provided to payroll in accordance with agreed schedules. Demonstrated knowledge and experience interpreting and applying Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs), Awards and employment legislation, along with a proven ability to provide accurate and practical advice on HR policies, procedures, employee entitlements, and employment terms and conditions. Proven experience working in a high-volume transactional HR environment, maintaining HR systems, employee records, and compliance documentation with accuracy and efficiency. To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience in a similar HR position, ideally within a shared services or high-volume transactional environment. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. You will bring a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience using the Workday Human Resources Information System will be highly regarded.
