Job Description
At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers’ success. To support this mission, Syngenta’s Crop Protection Human Resources Team is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Human Resources Operations Analyst in Greensboro, NC. This role will be responsible for supporting and executing various HR operational functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with HR processes and systems, experience performing proactive continuous improvement, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of HR operational end-to-end processes involving hiring, termination, and job changes to support the service provided by an offshore team.
  • Manage the relationship with HR vendors in the HR Administration area.
  • Some finance/procurement activities for PO/invoice management.
  • Proactively lead continuous improvement activities including identification of automation and efficiency opportunities.
  • Support in-house programs, processes, and compliance requirements including but not limited to:
  • I-9 program using the E-Verify application and managing remote I-9 coordinators in all US locations for compliance of new hire employment verification and foreign national re-verification.
  • Respond to unemployment claims.
  • Annual employment law poster management.
  • Support employee referral payout program.
  • Process monthly service awards.
  • Managing links and documents related to the HR Administration area.
  • Research, analyze, and respond to service issues arising from HR operational processes and escalations from extended offshore team.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employments laws and regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits of HR processes and documentation.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives while maintaining business as usual activities.
    Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND CAPABILITIES:

  • 3+ years’ experience Human Resources, specifically HR Operations, with knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • SPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP certification strongly preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of applications in the Microsoft suite.
  • Workday experience strongly preferred.
  • Smartsheet editing experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in conducting continuous improvement analysis and implementation.
  • Experience working with offshore service providers.
