This unique role combines the responsibilities of operations for our organization and spear heading and managing human resources related functions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for human resources and the creativity to drive both talent acquisition and the culture of excellence Astute Technology Management is known for.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment.
  • Experience in benefits administration and payroll.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Excellent follow-up skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, while maintaining a high level of detail.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to negotiating offers, conducting background checks and onboarding new hires.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, industry-specific events, and networking.
  • Work closely with department heads to understand and assist with predicting hiring needs.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of laws and regulations related to employee benefits, compensation, and employment issues is required.
  • Work with outside counsel to maintain company handbook and hiring guidelines.
  • Oversee payroll submission and work with outside payroll provider to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Oversee employee benefits (including health and retirement plans) and works with outside brokers, carriers or providers to resolve issues and improve offerings.
  • Oversees human resource related platforms and vendors relationships.
  • Assist with performance evaluations, feedback and goal setting.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Enforcing company policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Address employee concerns, promoting a positive work environment and strong culture, and monitor employee morale.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Attend and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Assist with day-to-day business operations.
  • Manage office supplies for two office locations.
  • Communicate and coordinate with vendors.
  • Ensure office space is well-maintained.
