REQUIREMENTS
3+ Years of relevant experience in a Human Resource related role
Certificate or Diploma in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong knowledge of BC Labor Laws and Safety Regulations
Ability to handle confidential information with utmost professionalism and discretion
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Strong English - Written & Verbal
Time Management and Organizational Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)

As the Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator, you will:
· Develop and implement HR strategies the align with our mission, vision, and values
· Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent
· Build & foster a positive, inclusive, and diverse company culture
· Oversee employee relations, benefits, and performance management
· Ensure compliance with labour laws and safety regulations
· Support training and professional development initiatives
· Process timely and accurate payroll for 50-70 employees for multiple companies
· Collect, verify, and enter timesheets, foreman logs, holiday pay, vacation, sick leave
· Process new hires and termination within our company software
· Maintain employee files and records within the payroll system
· Respond to employee and manager enquiries on payroll matters, tax issues and benefits
· Ad-hoc tasks as required
