LHH is looking for an Human Resources Payroll Specialist!
Does processing payroll for 100+ employees bi-monthly sound thrilling? Do you enjoy auditing tax garnishments, benefits and noticing payroll discrepancies?
Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced company? This client is looking for a Human Resources Payroll specialist excited to work for a large and growing company in Scottsdale with a few years of experience. The ideal candidate would have payroll knowledge but also a little human resources as well.

SALARY: $50,000 - $55,000 ANNUAL DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.

Contract-to-hire: Eligible for medical, vision and dental benefits after 60 days of employment

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Recruiting coordination such as screening and job posts
  • Processing payroll for 100+ employees
  • Creating and running reports
  • Issue bonuses; quarterly and annually
  • Researches and resolves payroll issues and any discrepancies
  • Onboarding new employees
  • Familiar with California HR laws and keeping things legally compliant
  • Interpret policy
  • Screen and source for production roles
  • Calculates manual checks
  • Issuing stop payments
  • Familiar with accounting systems such as QuickBooks
  • Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensures payroll integrity through audit reports and data analysis
  • Preforms other clerical duties and projects as assigned
  • Protect confidential payroll information
  • Follow up on exceptions and missing time entries
  • Benefits, open enrollment

Requirements:

  • High school or GED
  • Associates in Accounting a plus!
  • At least 5 years of payroll and HR experience

Monday - Friday 8 hour shift between 7am - 5pm; hybrid after months of training

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
